Adlington Painting Pty Ltd Company are currently looking for an apprentice painter to join the team. If you have an eye for detail and design, and like a job that offers visual satisfaction. Working with qualified and skilled painters you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support. Duties will involve: Carry out measurements and calculations. Read and interpret plans and specifications. Erect and maintain trestle and plank systems. Handle painting and decorating materials. Use painting and decorating tools and equipment. Remove and replace doors and door and window components. Prepare surfaces for painting. Apply paint by brush and roller. Apply texture coat paint finishes by brush, roller, and spray. You will be: Reliable and hard working. Motivated with a genuine interest in the industry. Be trustworthy. Committed to both on-the-job learning and formal study towards your Certificate III in Painting & Decorating. Preferred but not essential: Driver's licence and vehicle. To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
