**About the role
Fixed term temporary part time opportunity to provide specialist clinical services to patients presenting or referred to The Prince Charles Hospital.
About you
Provide specialist paediatric care especially in developmental and behavioural paediatrics to children and young people, working within a framework of an integrated mixed emergency department and a combined children's service.
Contribute to the development and establishment of the Children's service at The Prince Charles Hospital as an integrated and innovative general paediatric service (inpatient and outpatient) with a focus on family-centred care.
Foster good communication and relationships between interdisciplinary and inter-hospital teams.
Maintain standards and promote clinical advancement through commitment to evidence based practice including the development and periodic review of work unit guidelines, procedures, protocols and techniques.
Participate in appropriate education activities for patients, parents, postgraduate and undergraduate staff, nurses and other staff as required.
