The Role

We're on the hunt for an experienced Payroll Officer to become part of our friendly, collaborative team in West Perth. Key Responsibilities
* End‑to‑end payroll processing for casual and permanent staff
* Manage multiple pay cycles with accuracy and efficiency
* Ensure compliance with relevant awards and legislation
* Respond to payroll queries and provide exceptional employee support
* Assist with leave management, superannuation, MyLeave and other Statutory payments
* Contribute to process improvements and payroll system enhancements
* Assist with payroll audits and reporting
About You
* Eligible to work in Australia
* 3+ years' experience in payroll
* Experience with Pronto (or similar payroll systems)
* Skilled in managing high‑volume payrolls and GL reconciliation
* Background in construction or mining is a big plus
* Adaptable, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment
* Strong communication and time management skills
* Award interpretation experience highly regarded
