Construction Project Manager
As a key member of our team, you will oversee project delivery and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure successful completion of construction projects. Your expertise in managing technical information, contracts, and budgets will be instrumental in achieving our goals.
* Manage the flow of technical information between engineering disciplines and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
* Oversee construction contracts, including due diligence and compliance for third-party agreements.
* Provide regular updates on project progress, forecasting, budget control, procurement, and schedule management to the Head of Construction.
* Ensure end-to-end oversight of assigned construction projects, focusing on value management, safety, structural adequacy, and verification of contracted works.
* Identify opportunities to optimize delivery, timelines, or innovation and liaise with consultants as needed.
Key responsibilities also include conducting meetings and maintaining regular communication with key stakeholders, building strong partnerships with suppliers and vendors, contributing to the growth of the team, and acting as an ambassador for the company.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing large-scale, complex building projects, preferably in critical infrastructure environments like data centers or hospitals. Strong leadership skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to identify risks and solve issues early are essential.
The role requires a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical elements, building methods, and safety regulations. Effective communication with stakeholders, a focus on safety, quality control, and delivering high standards in every project are crucial.
Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance are necessary requirements.
