About The Role
Cater Care is looking for a Casual Catering Assistant to join our dedicated team at a welcoming aged care residence in beautiful Bangalow. This close-knit facility is home to 59 residents, where you'll play an important role in creating nutritious meals and a warm dining experience every day.
The location offers on-site parking for your convenience.
Roster: Various days and hours
What This Role Involves
* Basic kitchen duties, including sandwich and salad preparation
* Plating meals and desserts
* Provide excellent customer service to our residents
* Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
* Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
* Prepare and present texture modified foods
Skills and Experiences:
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
* Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
* Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
* Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
