Summary

Uses broad-based benefit management and system expertise to provide integrated benefit management consultation and solutions. Gathers and analyzes requirements to configure system functionality to meet desired goals and project deliverables.
Formal Education Required
* Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business, human resources, computer science or closely related field of study.
Experience & Training Required
* Seven years increasingly responsible experience in employee benefits, insurance (health, life and long-term disability) or human resources which has provided the opportunity to utilize a variety of software packages (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, and databases); and utilization of large-scale HRIS system to include report writing
Other Skills, Competencies And Qualifications
* Knowledge of ERP system data model, architecture, and technology environment.
* Ability to develop various reports to monitor data integrity and in response to end-user needs.
* Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and maintain cooperative relations with those contracted in the course of work.
* Ability to create and present training material in an effective manner
* Good organizational skills and ability to develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate benefit plans; ability direct the work of others.
* Ability to pay close attention to detail.
* Ability to perform in a work team environment; general knowledge of current laws such as SECTION 125, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA etc.
* Ability to maintain technical and/or PC skills sufficient for an extensive knowledge of multiple software packages such as Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Crystal Reporting, and HRIS system.
* Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
