About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the hotel, overseeing both Rooms Division and F&B Departments to ensure Intercontinental quality, guest, and colleague standards are met.
Main Responsibilities
* Drive a positive work environment for teams to thrive
* Interact with external contacts: guests, vendors, and other stakeholders as needed
* Monitor budget and control expenses, focusing on housekeeping productivity, laundry costs, food, beverage, and labour costs
* SUPPORT AND DRIVE INCREMENTAL REVENUE INITIATIVES AS REQUIRED
* Analyse guest satisfaction data and develop plans to achieve established goals
* Ensure all IHG Brand Standards are adhered to and the team is trained and held accountable to deliver these standards effectively
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management and/or Business Administration
* Four years of luxury/upscale hotel experience in a senior management capacity across Rooms and Food & Beverage
* Experience working with and managing third-party labour suppliers
* Demonstrated background in devising strategies to elevate the guest experience and increase loyalty enrolments
* Ability to work across multiple business units and projects
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage complex relationships and key stakeholders
