Imaging Specialist Position
This role involves working as an Imaging Specialist in a fast-paced theatre setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the image intensifier (II/C-Arm) and providing high-quality imaging services to patients.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to patient care and safety. They will also possess excellent customer service and patient focus skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, and teammates.
The Imaging Specialist will work primarily in a surgical environment and will be expected to ramp up hours over a 6-month period depending on interest and availability. This is a casual position that offers flexibility in hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate the image intensifier (II/C-Arm) in a surgical environment
* Provide high-quality imaging services to patients
* Work collaboratively with a supportive team of experienced radiographers and clinicians
Requirements:
* AHPRA-registered radiographer
* Confident operating mobile imaging equipment, particularly II/C-Arm (or willing to learn)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
