Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to support individuals with disabilities in Port Macquarie.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with customers, empower independence, and foster community connections.
Key Responsibilities:
* Site Induction: Welcome new customers with comprehensive welcome packs
* Menu Design: Create and manage menus that cater to diverse customer needs
* Chemical Management: Safely handle and document chemicals used in the facility
* Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular vehicle audits and maintenance requests to ensure roadworthiness
* Safety Audits: Perform quarterly safety audits and provide education to customers on safety protocols
* Customer Support: Assist customers with medical appointments and visit reviews
Requirements:
* A relevant Certificate III in Disability, Mental Health, Peer Work or equivalent qualification
* A valid NSW Driver's License (Class C)
* An Australian Federal Police Check and Working with Children Check
* Strong computer skills and proficiency in customer relationship management systems
