Buckin' Boots is a small retail boutique specialising in Western fashion and Cowboy Boots. We are on the hunt for a store manager for our Raymond Terrace store, who is available to work Tuesday to Friday (9-5) and every Saturday (10-4)

A minimum of 1-2 years of retail management experience is preferred.
Store Manager – Position Description
Role Purpose
The Store Manager is responsible for the overall performance, presentation, and day-to-day operation of the store. This role is hands-on and customer-focused, balancing sales leadership with operational control, visual merchandising, and team development.
The Store Manager is the face of the business locally and plays a critical role in building strong customer relationships and brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Boutique Performance
* Drive daily and weekly sales performance through active selling and styling
* Monitor store KPIs including sales, conversion & returns
* Understand customer buying patterns and adapt selling approach accordingly
* Take ownership of store results and trade
Customer Experience
* Deliver a personalised, high-touch customer experience
* Build long-term relationships with repeat and VIP customers
* Handle customer feedback and issues with professionalism and care
* Lead by example on the shop floor, setting the standard for service
Team Leadership
* Recruit, train, and onboard team members suited to boutique retail
* Coach and develop the team to build confidence in styling and selling
* Manage rosters in line with trading patterns and wage budgets
* Create a supportive, accountable, and engaged team culture
Visual Merchandising & Presentation
* Maintain strong visual merchandising and store presentation standards
* Style mannequins and displays to reflect current trends and product drops
* Ensure the store environment aligns with brand identity and boutique feel
* Take pride in cleanliness, layout, and overall store appearance
Stock & Inventory Management
* Manage deliveries, replenishment, and stock organisation
* Maintain accurate stock levels and complete stocktakes
* Minimise shrinkage through strong stock control practices
* Provide feedback on best sellers and slow-moving stock
Operations & Administration
* Complete daily opening and closing procedures
* Manage cash handling, banking, and POS processes
* Ensure compliance with company policies, WHS, and retail legislation
* Complete reporting and administrative tasks accurately and on time
