Job Title:

Technology Facilities Technician

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving technology infrastructure.

This includes representing changes at technology change board meetings, ensuring proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance, maintaining critical infrastructure, managing third-party technicians, working closely with server and networking teams, executing equipment audits and record-taking policies, troubleshooting cabling issues, maintaining Cormant-CS cabling inventory DB, reviewing and maintaining DCE StruxureWare monitoring system.


Key Responsibilities:

* Facilities Management: Represent changes at technology change board meetings, ensure proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance, maintain critical infrastructure, manage third-party technicians, work closely with server and networking teams, execute equipment audits and record-taking policies, troubleshoot cabling issues, maintain Cormant-CS cabling inventory DB, review and maintain DCE StruxureWare monitoring system.
* Strategic Planning: Assess and evaluate physical space requirements, develop long-term facilities plans based on company growth and future facility needs, work with external partners to assist with planning and gaining an understanding of best practice and emerging technologies, advise on ways to improve environmental, health, and safety within physical locations.
* Advisory: Provide guidance and technical advice to new infrastructure projects, contribute to standard operating procedures and standards, set project timeframes and priorities based on project objectives and ongoing assignments, manage outsourced technology facilities contracts, design and develop organizational policies relevant to the technology facilities department, approve and arrange site inductions and access.


Requirements:

* At least 3 years' experience in a facilities technician position
* Experience with facilities integrated work management systems
* Proven quality and process improvement skills
* Experience in engaging internal delivery teams, external vendors, and delivery partners for expected APAC outcome
