One of Australia's most progressive State Government departments are looking to engage a network/system administrator to manage and maintain their IT infrastructure including increasing efficiency to support development control and integration projects. The successful network/system administrator will provide hands on support overseeing projects to keep up with technology trends. The successful network/system administrator will be offered a 6 month contract with the view to go permanent.
The successful Network/System Administrator will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Support for Windows, upgrades, and proprietary
- Maintain and troubleshoot corporate networks (LAN, WAN, wireless, firewalls, VPN, etc)
- Managing and validating development requests via DevOps, create, administer, and maintaining documentation.
- Managing Microsoft Azure, Hybrid Active Directory (Entra), hosted servers, environmental monitoring, critical diagnostics, and application provisioning.
The successful Network/System Administrator will have experience in the following:
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, Azure AD (Entra), and cloud security.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and server configurations.
- Working knowledge of NetSuite CRM/ERP administration (highly desirable)
- Understanding of Azure management and configuration as well as networking, security protocols such as MFA & RBAC.
