Protech is hiring casual workers to support mechanical and structural works at a newly established precast concrete yard in Waterloo Corner & the Superway yard manufacturing tunnel segments for a major infrastructure project.
This is a long-term opportunity to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment alongside experienced teams, contributing to a once-in-a-generation build.
We're hiring for:
* General Hands
* Crane Operators
* Leading Hands
* Store persons
* Cleaners
* Production Operators
* Precast Labourers
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the production of precast concrete tunnel segments
* Prepare, clean, and set up moulds
* Pour, strip, and finish concrete
* Operate hand and power tools
* Perform basic patching and reinforcement placement
* Manual handling of materials
* General yard duties including cleaning and maintenance
* Follow WHS procedures and site safety protocols
What We're Looking For:
* White Card (Construction Induction) – essential
* Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
* Reliable and safety-conscious
* Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
* Forklift licence – desirable but not essential
* Experience in construction, concreting, or manufacturing highly regarded
