Job Title: Autonomous Maintenance Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional to join our team in Dysart, North Queensland.
* Diagnose and repair complex autonomous operating systems on a fleet of autonomous drills and semi-autonomous dozers.
* Perform routine service and repairs on base machines to ensure optimal performance.
* Respond promptly to breakdowns on site, minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and troubleshoot autonomous operating systems, including software and hardware components.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall system performance.
* Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A trade qualification in Heavy Mobile Plant, Electrical, Auto Electrical, or as a Communication Technician is essential. A minimum of 5 years' experience in mining maintenance, along with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, are highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of autonomous operating systems and their integration with other systems.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
* Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and other technical tools.
