Hire Controller / Yardperson

Flexihire is currently seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated person to join the team in our established Townsville branch. You will be part of a growing team with local support branches and a total of 17 other branches throughout the state.
About the role:
* Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers.
* Large emphasis on office administration (preparing invoices, reporting, purchase orders, etc).
* Logistic scheduling.
* Managing online enquiries.
* Managing safety compliance (preparing safety packs and undertaking risk assessments).
* Loading and unloading equipment from customers and trucks
* Cleaning, recording and inspecting all equipment returned to the branch Reporting equipment damage and refuelling equipment
* Assisting the front office Assist in keeping workshop, yard and service area clean,
* Mechanical or Hire Industry experience would be advantageous
* Great communication skills & team spirit
* VOC on Access & Earth Moving equipment advantageous but not essential.
* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changes on a daily basis.

The key skills required for this role include:
* Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Strong administration and customer service skills.
* Ability to respond to changing priorities
* Strong computer literacy including Microsoft suite.
* Exceptional time management skills
* Proactive and resilient individual.
* Ability to run reports, audit documentation and adhere to procedures
* Previous Hire Controlling or Hire industry experience very highly regarded, but not essential.
