OverviewWe are seeking two Heritage Advisors at Technical Director to Intermediate level to join our Western Australian Environment business group in Perth.
You'll support and deliver projects of varied scale and complexity, in Western Australia and nationally, giving you opportunities to grow your skillset in our multidisciplinary environment.
We value collaborative relationships, provide excellent work–life balance and versatile working arrangements, and we're open to discussing full-time or part-time options.ResponsibilitiesManaging heritage advice and approvals processes for a diverse range of projects in Western Australia and nationallyWorking on projects across the property and buildings, transport, water, energy and resources, and environment market sectorsInvestigating and reporting on a wide range of heritage matters, including statutory approvals and consultation with Traditional Owners, through field and desktop workBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients, internal specialists and sub-consultants, Commonwealth and State Government Departments, Agencies and Local CouncilsSupporting and contributing to the continued development of our team's technical skills through mentorshipDeveloping and supporting new business opportunities within the Cultural Heritage sector within Western Australia and nationallyQualificationsBetween 2 and 15 years of experience across heritage approval processes in Western Australia.Experience with the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 is preferred but not a requirement.A Bachelor's degree, and Honours or post graduate qualifications in archaeology, cultural heritage management or related field.Experience in a consulting environment strongly preferred, with a natural ability to build positive client relationships and openness to identifying and developing new business.A current Western Australian driver's licenseDiversity and InclusionGHD is an equal opportunity employer, and we want everyone to be able to fully participate in our recruitment process.
