We’re working with a leading business that needs an experienced Payroll Officer to hit the ground running-like, yesterday. This is a 3-month temporary assignment based in Melbourne’s south-east, offering immediate start, flexibility with hours, and on-site parking. 3 DAYS PER WEEK. You’ll be managing end-to-end payroll for 120 employees across Australia and New Zealand, working closely with a managed payroll services provider. This one’s perfect for someone who knows their stuff and can slot straight in with minimal hand-holding. Handover provided! The Role You’ll take full ownership of the payroll function during this contract, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time. Your day-to-day will include: End-to-end payroll processing across AU and NZ Managing PAYG, superannuation and taxation obligations Month-end reporting and reconciliations Liaising with a managed payroll service provider Responding to employee payroll queries with your usual charm and accuracy We’re after someone with: Proven experience in end-to-end payroll (including month-end reporting) Knowledge of both Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation Confidence in working with outsourced payroll providers Immediate availability and the ability to commit for 3 months A sharp eye for detail, a calm approach under pressure, and a can-do attitude If you’re a payroll pro looking for a short-term opportunity with great flexibility and a friendly team, we’d love to hear from you.
