Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Portfolio Manager based in Rockhampton, QLD. The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing a range of projects and initiatives, ensuring they align with the organisation's goals and deliverables. This includes coordinating resources, managing budgets, assessing risks, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure project success. The role requires strong leadership skills to direct team members and engage effectively with external partners, while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* Project management skills including expertise in planning, resource allocation, budget management, and risk assessment
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities with experience in guiding teams and collaborating effectively
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and build strong working relationships
* Understanding and passion for disability services, diversity, and inclusivity
* Proficiency in relevant software tools and project management platforms
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field; relevant certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is a plus
* Previous experience in a similar portfolio or program management role, ideally within the non-profit or human services sector
