The FASD Hub brings together the latest evidence-based content about alcohol, pregnancy and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) in Australia. Launched in 2017 and funded by the Department of Health and Aged Care, the FASD Hub is a consortium bringing together experts from the University of Sydney, Foundation for Alcohol Research and Education (FARE), National Organisation for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (NOFASD) Australia, Menzies School of Health Research, Griffith University, Curtin University and the University of Queensland, with The Kids Research Institute Australia as the lead and fundholder. Intended primarily for health professionals, researchers, policymakers and educators, the FASD Hub also provides content tailored to people with FASD and their families, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and women who are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. The Opportunity The Program Manager – FASD Hub Australia is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations, governance, and strategic direction of the FASD Hub. This position involves managing budgets, stakeholder engagement, and digital content strategies to enhance awareness and accessibility of FASD-related resources. The role requires a proactive leader with strong project management skills, digital expertise, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Some of your responsibilities will include: Lead and oversee the daily operations of FASD Hub Australia. Manage budgeting, compliance, governance, and strategic planning. Foster and maintain key stakeholder relationships. Develop and implement a digital engagement strategy. Oversee webinar and event coordination to enhance user engagement. This role is offered on a part time basis at 0.6FTE for a period of 12 months. About You Success in this role requires the following skill and achievements: Relevant degree or equivalent knowledge and skills developed through professional experience. Experienced in high-level project management, budgeting, and reporting. Strong digital literacy, including website management and social media. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships. Knowledge of government processes and compliance requirements.
