Retail Manager – Busy Drive-Thru

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to lead our fast-paced drive-thru operation. With new owners and an exciting new chapter ahead, this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make an impact and help shape the future of the business.
About the Role
As an experienced Retail Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the day-to-day operations Drive Thru, ensuring exceptional service standards and a positive team culture. Reporting to the newly appointed Venue Manager and Group General Manager, the successful candidate will have a broad range of skills and be hands on - this is not an office-based position
The Position
* Oversee daily operations of a busy drive-through retail venue
* Manage stock control, including monitoring inventory levels and minimising waste
* Handle ordering and supplier management to ensure consistent product availability
* Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver efficient and friendly customer service
* Ensure smooth workflow during peak periods
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness
* Ensure our customer expectations are exceeded at every interaction
* Ensure compliance with all aspects of the Liquor Licence
* Ensure all WH&S procedures are adhered to
* Supporting the implementation of new systems, standards, and service initiatives
* Drive promotional activities
* Work closely with senior management to help shape the future of the venue
The Leader (the successful candidate)
* Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a drive-through or high-volume setting
* Strong background in stock control and ordering
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and team leadership skills
* Organised, reliable, and proactive with a hands-on approach
* Commitment and passion to the industry
* A cheerful, positive attitude towards your work, customers and team members
* Show willingness to use initiative
* Sound knowledge in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word and Excel
* Sound knowledge of compliance, licensing, and operational requirements
* Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
