The Role
As a Sales Estimator, you play a key role in the success of our business. You'll manage quotes from start to finish, balancing speed with accuracy, and working closely with Sales, Operations, and Production to make sure everyone has what they need.
This is a role for someone who enjoys responsibility, values structure, and wants to be part of a supportive, professional team.
You will be responsible for:
* Preparing clear, accurate, and commercially sound estimates
* Managing quotes end-to-end, from plan review through to final release
* Meeting agreed turnaround times
* Making sure scopes, product selections, and pricing are right the first time
* Using our estimating and ERP systems with care and consistency
* Proactively seeking clarity when information is missing or unclear
You'll know you're doing well when (what success looks like):
* Your estimates are accepted by Production without rework
* Quotes are delivered on time, even during busy periods
* Gross margin is protected through good judgement and attention to detail
* Sales and Operations trust your work and rely on your advice
* Your systems and documentation are always clean and complete

* Proven experience in sales estimating within construction, joinery, or building products
* Strong ability to interpret plans, scopes, and architectural documentation
* Commercial mindset - you understand how estimating decisions affect margin and operations
* High attention to detail without sacrificing deadlines
* Disciplined, organised, and systems-driven
* Comfortable being accountable and measured

Appointment to this role is subject to successful completion of:
* Pre-employment medical, including physical capacity assessment
* Drug and alcohol screening
* Police clearance
* Provision of two (2) referees, being direct line managers from the past five (5) years
