Protech is seeking an experienced Distribution Supervisor to join our valued client, Incitec Pivot Fertilisers, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent role after 6 months.
About the Role
Location: Mackay, QLD. Roster: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays during peak season. Hours: 6:30am – 2:45pm. Peak Season: July to January.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily site operations, including product receipt, blending, and dispatch.
* Lead and support team members, seasonal staff, and contractors.
* Maintain a strong safety-first culture.
* Coordinate dispatch to ensure accurate and timely customer orders.
* Work with maintenance teams to optimise plant reliability and minimise downtime.
* Provide hands‐on operational support including plant and equipment operation.
* Maintain site housekeeping and environmental standards.
* Assist with shipping and vessel activities when required.
About You
* Experience in a supervisory or leading hand role (operations, logistics, or manufacturing).
* Strong commitment to workplace safety.
* Hands‐on, proactive approach.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to plan, organise, and problem‐solve in a fast‐paced environment.
* Basic computer skills (SAP or D365 experience desirable).
* Current driver's licence.
