About the Company:
Our client, a leading healthcare software company, are currently seeking an HR Generalist to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This role is based in the inner eastern suburbs of Perth, with the flexibility to work from home two days a week.
About the role:
Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the company’s culture, managing HR processes, and ensuring human resource operations are in accordance with the business objections and Australian legislation.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Talent Acquisitions:
* Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Employee Relations:
* Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
* Provide guidance to managers and employees on employee relations issues.
* Handle conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures in a fair and compliant manner.
HR Policy and Compliance:
* Review and update HR policies and procedures and communicate changes to employees.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
* Support HR audits and reporting requirements.
Performance Management:
* Manage the performance management processes.
* Advise and train managers on performance improvement plans and development opportunities.
* Monitor performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
Benefits and Compensation:
* Administer and communicate employee benefits programs.
* Oversee compensation and salary review processes.
HR Projects:
* Participate in HR-related projects, such as the implementation of new HRIS systems, employee engagement initiatives, and diversity and inclusion programs as required.
The successful candidate will also have:
* Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
* 2-3 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Australia.
* Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* Previous experience in Change Management is not essential but would be highly advantageous.
