The Electrician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems on commercial buildings. This includes regular preventive maintenance to ensure all systems are operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with local regulations.
Duties:
* Performing scheduled and preventative commercial maintenance.
* Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues, including wiring, lighting, and circuit systems.
* Documenting work performed and maintaining detailed records of repairs and maintenance.
* Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
* Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and electrical regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Electrical trade certificate.
* Proven experience in commercial electrical work
* Proven experience in electrical maintenance.
* Solid understanding of Australian electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform timely and effective repairs
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Completing a national police check and medical assessment will be part of the recruitment process
* A valid driver's licence
