About the Role

Location
: CANBERRA OR SYDNEY

Clearance
: NV2 (NV1 may be considered)

The Technical Officer will provide technical support and system maintenance within our client's ICT environments, contributing to the delivery and sustainment of mission-critical systems. Working under the guidance of senior technical staff, the Technical Officer will play a key role in supporting the reliability, security, and performance of deployed systems. This role suits an early-mid career ICT professional who demonstrates initiative, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn in complex and dynamic operational settings.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the delivery and maintenance of mission-critical ICT systems in deployed environments.
* Assist in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues efficiently.
* Contribute to system configuration and ensure compliance with client ICT security protocols.
* Help maintain messaging and infrastructure systems in multi-forest distributed environments.
* Patch, upgrade, and sustain systems in line with Client Patch Management Plans.
* Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
* Support user account management and assist partner teams with incident resolution.
* Occasionally travel to Client sites to assist with system builds, set-to-work activities, and training.
* Participate in an on-call roster to support High Priority Incidents (HPIs) when required.
