About The Role
Shoalhaven City Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Nowra Aquatic Park Coordinator to oversee the operations, programs and activities of the Nowra Aquatic Park and Northern Seasonal Pools (Berry, Shoalhaven Heads, Greenwell Point, Kangaroo Valley). Reporting directly to the Northern Recreation Manager, the main duties of this role includes:
Responsibility for the operational Management of Nowra Aquatic Park, and Northern Seasonal Pools at Berry, Greenwell Point, Kangaroo Valley & Shoalhaven Heads.Manage budgets for Nowra Aquatic Park and the Northern Seasonal Pools, including monitoring income and expenditure and identifying opportunities to improve financial performance.Lead, support and coordinate the onsite team to ensure effective day‑to‑day operations and high‑quality service delivery.Model strong leadership by showing initiative, taking responsibility for team outcomes, and upholding ethical and professional standards.Drive continuous improvement by reviewing processes, identifying efficiencies, and supporting operational change.Analyse information from multiple sources to solve problems and inform decision-making.

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
Certificate IV in Community Recreation (or equivalent)Class C Driver LicenceCurrent NSW Working with Children CheckCurrent Senior First Aid CertificateCurrent CPR CertificateProof of Right to work in AustraliaPrevious management experience in an aquatic or leisure environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to manage budgets, analyse financial data and prepare reportsDemonstrated team leadership and experience delivering community recreational programsUnderstanding of WHS principles and safety standards
