**About the Role**
As an Account Executive responsible for a portfolio of Government clients, you will play a key role in supporting our customers through Canon's core business and solutions streams. You will have a focus on providing excellent services and maximising revenue across the government sectors in NSW.
Not only will you plan and execute business plans with potential key customers to deliver against the overall business strategy but you will also own the account management of an existing portfolio of top tier government customers. You will be involved in the development of the strategic sales plan to deliver revenue targets and achieve profitable growth commitments across several product and service offerings.
**Scope of the role includes**:

- Account management of new and assigned customers
- Lead the development of new business opportunities and plan and execute Business plans with potential key Customers to deliver against the overall Business strategy
- Liaise with any new or existing customers and the business to input to the development of the strategic sales plan to grow, meet and exceed sales and revenue targets and achieve profitable growth commitments across several product and service offerings
- Proactively generate new business through a variety of go to market strategies and core propositions as well as the development of new business leads through the sales cycle
- Employ digital marketing research tools like Linkedin, Sales Navigator and eDM to identify and build new business opportunities
- Achieve customer additions, revenue and profit objectives/budgets
- Negotiate major deals and develop submit tender response within policy guidelines.
- Develop business engagement models that define the strategy
- Identify and steer opportunities for business improvement
- Report performance to budget with variance analysis and revised projections
- Contribute to, and devise the development/implementation of sales strategies
- Attend and present at relevant seminars and other customer focussed events
- Actively engage with marketing for lead generation and follow up
- Management of the sales process from initial order through to implementation and beyond
- Partner with Project Management team to ensure timely completion of projects
**About you**
As someone with a proven track record in maximising business opportunities with top tier Enterprise or Government Accounts, you will enjoy leveraging your knowledge and experience of managed services and solutions. You are used to working autonomously but you know how to collaborate with stakeholders across the country to achieve outcomes for our business.
Your commercial acumen is second to none and you have a head for numbers and analytics and you have an eye for details when it comes to responding to detailed, complex tenders. Your previous experience of working with Enterprise organisations or Government agencies will be highly regarded.
