What’s the role? As the Account Director for the Coles account at Medium Rare Content Agency (MRCA), you are responsible for owning the day‑to‑day client relationship. Your focus will be on operational management across retail print and online content projects, ensuring client service components are consistently met and exceeded. You will report directly to the Head of Partnerships and Ops, Coles, and will oversee direct reports including the Account Manager, Campaigns.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary client contact for day‑to‑day operational matters, leading weekly WIP meetings and ensuring all business areas are represented.
Manage operational third‑party supplier activities, including printers and distributors, to ensure deliverables are achieved without incident.
Lead client projects from the initial scoping and quoting phases through to delivery, with a particular focus on strategy and creative planning.
Collaborate with the advertising team to achieve budgets and foster high‑level relationships with internal content teams to ensure smooth account operations.
Oversee the growth and development of the Account Management team and Content Coordinators through consistent mentoring and performance reviews.
Handle financial accountabilities including preparing monthly forecasts, reconciling ad hoc invoices, and ensuring projects meet required margin targets.
