About the role
This role involves delivering employment services in line with NDIS practice standards and includes building a participant's capacity to work through skills development, work experience placements, and on the job support. You will canvass the local community to promote are-able Employment Services and create employment opportunities for participants, while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including participants, family members, carers, funding body staff and subsidiaries, community services and employers.
This role is focused on engaging community stakeholders to increase referrals to are-able Employment programs and requires a motivated individual with experience in employment preparation and proven skills and experience in engaging business and community services that facilitates opportunities for people with various support requirements.
Skills And Experiences
Responsibilities include:
* Performing onboarding and registration of new participants into employment services programs.
* Facilitating employment skills training and support to participant groups via the delivery, assessment, and development of defined coursework.
* Providing individualised participant planning and support to prepare for employment while liaising with community members and participant networks.
* Engaging with community stakeholders and employers while providing intensive group and individual support to build the employment skills of people with a diverse range of capabilities
To be successful you will have a knack for networking and customer service with a dynamic, confident personality that will work with local community and are-able Employment Consultants to facilitate the placement and ongoing employment of Participants into work.
