Job Description
The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities with various customers across NSW. This role requires building strong relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to customers. The manager will play a critical role in increasing revenue through strategic account management and proactive networking.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify new business opportunities and generate leads across NSW
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and provide exceptional customer service
* Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
* Collaborate with import, pricing & transport teams to create solutions to meet customer needs
* Conduct market research to stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape
NSW based travel for prospect/client meetings, site openings, and tender site visits are required.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years in business development & sales with a proven track record of growth
* Previous experience in Fuel, Transport & Logistics or Mining industries highly regarded
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Adept at communicating with clients across all levels
* Experience developing your client portfolio with outstanding influencing, customer service, and relationship building skills
* Experience in successfully responding to tenders with ability to lead and co-ordinate tender responses
