Senior Residential Solar Sales Consultant

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Residential Solar Sales Consultant to drive sustained growth across South East Queensland. This role is suited to a proven performer who understands the full residential solar sales lifecycle and can operate with a high degree of autonomy, professionalism, and commercial discipline.
The successful candidate will work remotely, managing inbound and self-generated opportunities, delivering high-quality proposals, and converting residential customers into long-term advocates of the brand. This is a senior role with a strong base salary and an uncapped, performance-driven commission structure.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue Generation
* Convert qualified residential solar leads into signed contracts through consultative, solution-based selling.
* Conduct remote and, where required, in-person customer consultations across South East Queensland.
* Present tailored solar, battery, and energy-management solutions aligned with customer needs, budgets, and site constraints.
* Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Customer Experience
* Act as the primary point of contact for customers from initial enquiry through to contract execution.
* Clearly explain system design, pricing, payback, warranties, and installation processes.
* Maintain a high standard of professionalism, transparency, and responsiveness throughout the sales process.
* Support long-term customer relationships, referrals, and repeat business.
Technical & Commercial Competence
* Demonstrate strong working knowledge of residential PV systems, batteries, inverters, and grid-connection considerations.
* Accurately scope systems using remote tools (imagery, shade analysis, consumption data).
* Work collaboratively with design, operations, and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales documentation.
Market & Brand Representation
* Represent the company professionally within the SEQ residential market.
* Identify emerging trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform continuous improvement.
* Uphold brand values and compliance standards at all times.
Experience & Skills Required
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in residential solar sales, with a demonstrable track record of high performance.
* Strong understanding of the Australian residential solar market, particularly within South East Queensland.
* Proven ability to sell premium solutions, not just price-driven systems.
* High level of commercial acumen and confidence discussing return on investment and energy economics.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
* Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.
* Strong CRM discipline and digital literacy.
* Current Australian driver's licence.
