Job Description
The Mental Health Clinician will be a key member of our mental health service, providing immediate support for people experiencing crisis or moderate to severe mental health needs. This role involves conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing care plans, and coordinating care with other services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting biopsychosocial assessments of consumers
* Developing care plans in collaboration with consumers and their families/carers
* Coodinating care with other services
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* AHPRA registration as a clinical psychologist, registered psychologist, or occupational therapist (meeting Australian Competency Standards in mental health) OR accreditation with the AASW as a mental health social worker (or working toward)
* Demonstrated ability to engage consumers and families/carers in assessment, care planning, coordination, and referral support
* Proven skills in providing holistic, evidence-based therapeutic interventions
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently
