**About the role**
The Administration Officer is integral to the effective and efficient operation of all the clinics, as well as the call centre, within Specialist Outpatient Clinics, on a day to day basis. Liaising with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM), in conjunction with medical, nursing, and clerical staff, to facilitate an integrated model of care, will be a key part of this senior administrative role.
**Key Responsibilities**
You will:
- Participate in the process of recruitment, selection and retention of administration staff;
- Coordination Specialist Outpatient Clinics administration team, including the monitoring and organisation of the administrative elements of the clinics and call centre;
- Provide and promote excellent customer service; and
- Promote efficient teamwork and service provision.
**Skills and experience**
You will have:
- Experience working in a similar administrative role;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills;
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing and competing priorities and environment;
- Prior experience in leading and coordinating administrative team/s;
- Qualification in Business / Office Administration preferred but not essential; and
- Certificate in medical terminology preferred but not essential.
