Job Title:
The Venue Support Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining a welcoming and functional environment for staff and guests. This position is responsible for ensuring shared spaces are clean, stocked, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain Shared Facilities: Regularly inspect and manage consumables, perform basic equipment maintenance, and ensure kitchen and shared areas are welcoming.
* Provide Logistics Support: Assist with mail handling, goods receipt and distribution, packing, warehousing, and material handling tasks while following safe manual handling practices.
* Deliver Exceptional Service: Uphold high standards of customer service, engage in continuous improvement, and contribute positively to team goals and service delivery.
* Ensure Safety and Compliance: Follow all health, wellbeing, and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
* Build Positive Relationships: Collaborate effectively with staff, suppliers, contractors, and visitors to support a connected and inclusive workplace culture.
Requirements:
* Completion of a Trades Certificate or completion of year 12 with relevant work experience; or
* Equivalent relevant experience or combination of relevant experience and education/training.
* Experience in providing customer service and support to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience working in an environment which dictates high standards of protocol, attention to detail and professionalism.
