The Wellbeing Directorate oversees Counselling and Wellbeing services, supporting students with personal and academic matters that may impact their progress and overall development.

Role Overview

As a key member of the Counselling Team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing student wellbeing, resilience, and academic success. You will be providing guidance that strengthens the students' coping strategies, enhances their resilience, and improves key skills such as study techniques, motivation, and time management.

Position Requirements

* Relevant degree (psychology, social work, counselling) with at least three years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* High‐level interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver psycho‐social‐educational programs and seminars.
* Clinical counselling experience across diverse issues, ages and cultural backgrounds, including the ability to design and implement proactive wellbeing programs.
* Strong knowledge of counselling theory, psychological disorders, transitional issues, equity and social justice principles to support participation and success of diverse student groups, including international students.
* Commitment to professional ethics and best practices in counselling.
