The opportunity
You will be joining a friendly and dedicated team of Indigenous Health Workers who collaborate closely with doctors on a daily basis, providing culturally appropriate insights and guidance.
Your work hours will be from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with 20-minute patient consultations and no after-hours call-outs.
A clean and safe sedan will be available for your use during your engagements.
You will be using Communicare software for patient management.
Accommodations include clean two-bedroom units in a secure area, shared with other professional staff from the same organization.
Enjoy regular staff social lunches and gatherings, fostering a sense of community.
You'll also have the opportunity to immerse yourself in A & TSICulture during annual events in the NPA region, such as the NPA Annual Rodeo and the NPA Cultural Festival, which coincide with public holidays.
Additionally, a 4WD vehicle can be arranged upon request for weekend use.

The Northern Peninsula Area (NPA) is a wonderful place to live, offering beautiful beaches to unwind.
It has a small-town charm, consisting of five interconnected communities, with Bamaga as the central hub.

Essential criteria
FACRRM / FRACGP or VR qualifications
Unrestricted AHPRA Registration
Experience in working within an Indigenous health setting and remote communities is preferred but not essential.
Communicare knowledge preferable
