About the role
Sapphire Bathrooms is seeking a Wall & Floor Tiling Apprentice to join our team in the Western suburbs of Adelaide. This full-time apprenticeship position will provide you with hands-on training and the opportunity to develop valuable skills in bathroom renovation and the tiling industry.
What we're looking for
* A strong interest and aptitude for hands-on work in the building trades
* Good attention to detail and the ability to work precisely
* Basic numeracy skills for measuring and calculations
* A willingness to learn and follow instructions
* A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Eligibility Criteria:
* Provisional or full driver's license with reliable vehicle
* Physically fit and healthy due to undertaking manual labor work
What you'll be doing and learning
* On the job skills in renovating a bathroom from demolition to completion
* Assisting experienced tilers in the installation of wall and floor tiles
* Preparing areas for tiling, screed and waterproofing
* Measuring, cutting, and preparing tiles for installation
* Applying adhesive and grouting tiles
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
* Participating in ongoing training and skill development
