OverviewAt Motor Scout Australia, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Analyst to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in manual testing with a strong grasp of software development best practices.
They will play a key role in testing internal software applications and websites to ensure optimal performance, functionality and data integrity.
This role requires excellent attention to detail, critical thinking and effective communication skills, particularly when working with our offshore teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform end-to-end testing of our internal software applications before product launches to ensure the product meets our requirementsEnsure compliance with software development best practices, identifying potential risks and suggesting solutionsCommunicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand project/product requirementsWork within a team to ensure test environments are ready and product testing is completed on time with the required level of documented test casesRun or create new manual and automated tests (if needed) to confirm the functionality added to productsFamiliarity with GIT or automated test software preferredIdentify, analyse, document and track defects using JIRACollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure high quality releasesIdentify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations for implementationProvide input and direction into the testing strategyLeave no stone unturned, no testing incomplete and be proud to put your name on our products!
Key Requirements3+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on manual testingExperience using JIRA for task tracking and project managementProven experience in end-to-end software testing including functional, integration, performance and exploratory testingStrong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teamsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and work under pressureDrive quality improvements and best practices across the accountStrong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically to identify and resolve complex issuesProven experience working within a project team/environmentProven ability to manage project related activities and user testingExperience in preparing and delivering user training is desirable, not mandatoryAbility to learn recent applications and platformsExperience with Android and iOS operating systems versionsPreferred QualificationsExposure to GIT and CI/CD pipelinesExperience in application and system integration testingExperience in API testingPrior experience working with international teams across different time zonesExperience with test automation tools (desirable but not essential)We invite you to apply if you're ready to contribute to Motor Scout and help deliver great value to customers on the open road.
