About the Role
Design and integrate mechanical, electrical, and control systems for Modra's automated machinery.
Develop and maintain control software using C# and Python, and program Beckhoff PLCs (TwinCAT 2/3).
Conduct in-house and on-site testing, debugging, and commissioning.
Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines to deliver robust, integrated solutions.
Prepare detailed design documentation, reports, and compliance records.
Contribute to R&D and continuous improvement initiatives across Modra's product range.
About You
A degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
At least 5+ years of professional (post-tertiary) engineering experience in automation, mechatronics, or systems integration.
Strong foundation across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles.
Proficiency in C# (Visual Studio) and experience with Beckhoff / TwinCAT control systems.
Working knowledge of Python for automation, data processing, or testing.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting ability across multiple engineering domains.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required for commissioning or client support.
Why Join Modra Technology?
Join a globally recognised, award-winning manufacturer at the forefront of automation innovation.
Work within a multidisciplinary team that values initiative, creativity, and professionalism.
