About the role:
We are currently experiencing a high demand for skilled Disability & Youth Support Workers to work in a range of community settings across Tweed Heads and the far north coast. Whether you are an early riser, night owl or somewhere in between, Healthcare Australia is looking for compassionate carers to support our disability & youth community clients.
* This is a casual role, to start as soon as possible.
* You will work in disability residential environments - SIL houses and within the community.
* Support young people or clients with disabilities in their day-to-day living tasks.
* You will assist in engaging and purposeful social support activities.
* Documentation and Reporting – maintain accurate records of participants progress and care plans.

What we are looking for:
* Minimum of 6-months (FTE) experience in supporting clients with physical/intellectual disabilities.
* Experience working with clients who have high-intensity and complex behaviours.
* Possess a valid Police Check (valid within the last 3 years).
* For Youthwork: must hold or be working towards a Cert IV or higher within a relevant field.
* Available to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week: which could include day, afternoon and night shifts (sleepovers or active awakes).
* Current First Aid and CPR certificate - (or willing to obtain).
* Current WWCC (Blue Card)/ Disability Workers Screening (Yellow Card) and NDIS Screening.
