We are a long-established Sunshine Coast law firm based in Maroochydore, and we are currently seeking an experienced Accounts manager / Bookkeeper to manage our financial and trust accounting functions as well as some other administrative tasks.
This role is ideal for someone with legal bookkeeping experience who enjoys working independently and understands the compliance requirements of a legal practice.

There is flexibility whether the role is part time or full time, depending on the applicant.
Key Responsibilities
* Trust account management in accordance with QLD Legal Profession requirements
* Trust and office account reconciliations
* Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
* Processing wages and superannuation
* Preparation and lodgement of IAS
* Bank reconciliations
* Liaising with external accountants as required
* Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting end-of-month processes
* Other ad hoc administrative tasks
About You
* Proven bookkeeping experience (law firm experience highly regarded)
* Strong knowledge of trust accounting and compliance obligations
* Experience with payroll, superannuation and IAS
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work autonomously and manage deadlines
* Experience with LEAP legal accounting software & Xero (preferred but not essential)
