Service Supervisor Opportunity
In the heart of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Service Supervisor to join our team at Epiroc. As a key member of our service centre, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, promoting a culture of safety and well-being among our technicians and customers.
2. Oversee machine rebuilds, midlifes, and PCR operations, ensuring that all equipment is properly serviced and maintained.
3. Coordinate and supervise technicians to deliver outstanding service, meeting customer expectations and company standards.
4. Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and colleagues, providing exceptional customer service and support.
5. Identify and coordinate employee training and development needs, ensuring that our technicians have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
6. Manage our apprentice program, mentoring and guiding our young technicians as they develop their skills and expertise.
7. Oversee rock drill and component overhauls, ensuring that all equipment is properly serviced and maintained.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Service Supervisor or in a similar leadership role, with a strong understanding of OEM environments and practices.
2. Relevant trade certificate and qualifications, demonstrating a solid foundation in technical skills and knowledge.
3. Excellent planning and resource management skills, with the ability to allocate tasks and resources effectively.
4. Strong people management and leadership skills, with a proven track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
5. Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide solutions.
6. Commitment to quality and customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding customer expectations.
7. Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and composure.
8. Proficient computer literacy and report writing skills, with the ability to create clear and concise reports and documentation.
