What You'll Be Doing:
This is the ultimate hybrid role. Depending on the client and the project, your week could span across four diverse pillars:
* Expert BAU Processing: Stepping in as the \"safe pair of hands\" to run complex, end-to-end payroll cycles for our clients when they need absolute accuracy and reliability.
* Systems & Implementation: Leading or supporting HRIS/payroll project implementations (SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Dayforce), from scoping and testing through to go‐live.
* Remediation & Assurance: Conducting employer obligation checks, identifying root‐cause compliance issues, and fixing broken payroll processes.
* Advisory & Governance: Designing robust risk controls, advising senior leaders, and coaching client teams to ensure successful knowledge transfer.
What We're Looking For:
Whether you are a Payroll Officer, a Payroll Manager, or an existing Consultant, we want to hear from you if you have:
* Deep Operational Roots: 5+ years of hands‐on, end‐to‐end payroll processing experience with a strong grasp of complex Australian legislation, awards and Enterprise Agreements.
* Systems Agility: Experience navigating, testing, or implementing Tier 1 payroll/HRIS systems.
* The Consulting Mindset: The commercial awareness to spot opportunities, solve problems, and communicate effectively with everyone from front‐line to the C‐Suite.
* Adaptability: You genuinely enjoy the rhythm of a pay run, but you also love the challenge of project work and process improvement.
