About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Officer to provide Level 1 and 2 technical support across our organization. This is a part-time onsite role, 3 days per week (Mon, Tue, Wed) located at our Head Office in Box Hill. Ideal for someone with solid IT troubleshooting skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-level IT support for end users (hardware, software, network, and application issues).
- Reporting and working close to the IT Manager.
- Log, monitor, and resolve IT service requests using the service desk ticketing system.
- Support user account management in Active Directory and Microsoft O365.
- Install, configure, and maintain Laptops, iPhones and iPads, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot Windows 11, Office 365, and common business applications.
- Liaise with external vendors or escalate issues as required.
- Assist in system documentation, IT asset management, and maintenance.
- Support new employee onboarding (account creation, workstation setup, etc.).
- Flexibility to work after hours if required.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in an IT support role (Level 1 or 2).
- Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft O365, and Active Directory.
- Experience with basic network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, VPN, LAN).
- Familiarity with endpoint protection, backup systems, and ticketing tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A customer-first mindset and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
