Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your maintenance expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside motivated and energetic teammates and join our Services business and to work on the Sydney Metro North West Project. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business, taking care of the completion of maintenance inspections/visits for both preventative and corrective maintenance on the first driverless metro train in Australia and much more. If you're ambitious, driven and team-spirited, this is your opportunity to build a career. This is a dayshift role which may later change into night shift.
We'll look to you for:
- Conduct scheduled and reactive maintenance on trains and depot infrastructure, including inspections, troubleshooting, component replacements, and overhauls, within the scope of assessed competencies.
- Adapt to various tasks based on training and competency, ensuring operational flexibility and efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve issues in mechanical, pneumatic, and other systems as per core discipline and instructions.
- Carry out upgrades and modifications to train systems and components to improve performance and reliability.
- Follow all safety protocols, work instructions, and supervisor directives, and assist in safety documentation and assessments.
- Accurately complete maintenance records and participate in multi-skilled teams for electro-mechanical tasks on Metro cars.

We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual who is passionate about problem solving. You will also have
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in technical functions
- Railway industry experience is preferred
