Clinical Manager – Residential Aged Care Location : Brisbane Bayside
Are you a dynamic and influential leader in aged care? We are seeking aCare Manager to join a well-established residential aged care village in Brisbane's bayside suburbs. This pivotal role supports the delivery of high-quality, person-centred clinical and care services in a culturally inclusive environment.
About the Role Working alongside the Facility Manager, the Care Manager will drive excellence in customer experience, clinical governance, compliance, and quality outcomes aligned with the Strengthened Aged Care Standards. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and set the tone for compassionate, culturally sensitive, and consumer-focused care.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the needs of all stakeholders—especially elders—are met with dignity and respect
* Oversee care delivery in line with Aged Care Quality Standards and initiate interventions where needed
* Lead the team in achieving and maintaining accreditation standards
* Mentor, supervise, and educate staff to ensure consistent quality care
* Maximise funding opportunities through effective care planning and documentation
* Maintain current clinical governance and oversee care systems
* Develop and review policies and procedures to reflect contemporary standards
* Lead incident, complaint, and risk assessments and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current AHPRA registration
* Formal qualifications in management, health, or business highly regarded
Skills & Experience
* Extensive experience in aged care management
* Strong clinical background in residential aged care
* Proven leadership in staff supervision and program management
* Ability to prioritise workload and achieve clinical outcomes
* Self-motivated with a commitment to professional development
* Sound judgement and effective response to HR, client complaints, and serious incidents
