About the Role
This is a site-based opportunity for an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Quality Assurance/Control (E&I QA/QC) professional to join our team in delivering front-end readiness for Wheatstone Brownfields projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to a safe and productive working environment.
* Review and verify work packs to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
* Verify work meets required acceptance criteria, including adherence to industry best practices, client requirements, and Australian Standards.
* Support audits, inspections, and quality reporting as needed.
* Assist in identifying, investigating, and advising on discipline-specific Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
* Liaise with multiple stakeholders to manage hazardous area deliverables effectively.
* Provide technical guidance and training to execution teams.
* Develop strong relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal UGL teams.
* Manage quality activities according to inspection plans.
* Address day-to-day challenges and report quality incidents that may impact project outcomes.
* Ensure timely quality reporting to clients, project leaders, and site leadership.
* Review upcoming scopes of work to ensure quality delivery across all phases from design to completion.
* Analyze quality trends and implement quality improvement initiatives.
* Oversee the completion process, including sign-off of Inspection & Test Records (ITRs).
Requirements
* WA 'A' grade unrestricted Electrical License.
* EEHA qualifications within 3 years.
* Certificate 4 in Instrumentation.
* At least 5 years of E&I QA/QC experience in Oil and Gas or similar industries.
* Familiarity with Australian Standards and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
* Knowledge of equipment used and installation best practices in O&G facilities.
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
