About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join our QLD Technical Support Team. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who can work with minimal supervision, provide high‐quality support, and mentor junior technicians as they develop in their careers.
As an Electronics Technician, you will be a Subject Matter Expert, delivering both remote and onsite support across a broad and growing portfolio of communications systems. You will contribute to increased service capacity, improved quality, and strong client retention across our QLD operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing high‐quality remote technical support to Radlink's MSA clients
* Performing onsite preventative maintenance, inspections, and reporting
* Completing onsite corrective maintenance tasks
* Building and developing technical solutions as required
* Conducting equipment repairs to specification
* Supporting and mentoring junior technicians and apprentices
* Assisting with other projects and deliverables as required
Skills and Experience
* Certificate III in Electronics and Communication (UEE30911) or similar trade qualifications in Communications Technician, Telecommunications Engineering, Auto Electrical, or equivalent.
* Valid Australian C-Class Drivers' License as a minimum.
* Construction Induction (White Card).
* Minimum 5 years' experience with Radio Frequency (RF) systems integration and maintaining telecommunication equipment.
* Strong experience with the testing and commissioning of antenna and multi-coupling systems.
* In‐depth knowledge of digital (TETRA, P25, DMR), analogue radio systems, and microwave links.
* Ability to accurately interpret construction and technical drawings ensuring accurate installations.
* High‐level communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
* A first‐time right quality standard in all activities undertaken.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Be adaptable and agile to ensure the success of the team and project delivery.
* Willingness to travel / fulfil FIFO/DIDO project rosters.
