About the Role
This is a senior technical role within our global operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting mining systems and technologies across our operations.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive implementation, provide technical support, manage vendor relationships, and lead innovation initiatives aligned with our contract mining business goals.
* Provide remote and onsite support for mining technology and automation systems
* Monitor system performance and lead configuration and improvement efforts
* Develop project support documentation and internal knowledge resources
* Coordinate with OEMs and manage service level agreements
* Lead internal upskilling through competency plans and support tools
* Contribute to change management and the successful rollout of new technologies
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and promote commercial alignment
* Support audits, cost reviews, and the development of standardized processes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 5–7 years' experience in surface and/or underground mining
* Strong knowledge of mining systems, automation, and operational technologies
* Hands-on experience with mining tech implementation, control room systems, or maintenance
* Understanding of IT systems, networking and ERP platforms such as SAP
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with a keen eye for detail
