Job Title: Claims Assessor (Retail)
Due to the growth of their business, our client is looking for a talented Claims Assessor (Retail) to manage a portfolio of TPD (majority) and IP claims. The company is growing and has a strong reputation in the market for robust and fair claims management, backed by a strong, experienced leadership team.
Responsibilities:
Provide a personal and empathetic service to all Life Customers, managing and assessing all Life Claims within the stated authority limits.
Assist the Claims Team in managing workflow.
Assess and manage claims within set authority limits.
Assist with data collection for claims reporting.
Handle general customer service enquiries related to claims.
Participate in system testing as required.
Contribute to claims process improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile:
Successful candidates will have proven experience in a similar role within life insurance, demonstrating dedication to service and operational excellence. Knowledge of relevant legislation and principles is essential, as the role involves managing a variety of claims, including some high-value cases. The company offers a split WFH culture with 3 days in the office and encourages 4 days during training and onboarding.
